Gem State Adventist Academy is honored to announce that our annual scholarship golf tournament will be named in memory of James “Jamie” Ernest, a beloved alumnus from the class of 1996.
Jamie was a passionate supporter of GSAA, the father of a current student, and an avid golfer who got his entire family involved in the sport. He was a familiar and welcome face at our tournament every year.
Jamie sadly passed away in June 2025, and this renaming honors his legacy and his significant contribution to the GSAA community. He is greatly missed by all who knew him.

You are invited to join us for this special day on the green for a good cause on May 17.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a good golfer or a bad golfer. This tournament is for everyone. Last year, we raised $7,000 for scholarships, and we hope to top that this year. This will be a fun tournament you won’t want to miss!

The tournament format will be a modified four-person scramble. Maximum of 144 players. First-come, first-served. Deadline to register is May 7.

Registration Fee: $125 per person (includes 18 holes of golf with cart, gift bag, and gourmet lunch) or $480 for a team of 4 people.
